What an amazing day at the Beech Tree Farm in New Hope that wedding was for Kim and Frank. I have posted a few of the wedding details if you have missed it here. Frank was a schoolmate of mine at the Community College when I was taking a photography college course there. And he actually helped me get in to photographing my first wedding as a second shooter, as he was a former professional photographer himself. I wouldn’t have known that after a few years he would give me the honor of documenting their special day. Thank you Kim and Frank, it was such a privilege for me to be part of your wedding.

Here are some words from Kim and Frank’s wedding site “As a surprise to Kim, I planned to give her the engagement ring in UTAH, because the night we met each other we had talked about where we both had been, and what places we wanted to go for a hike. Kim said she always wanted to go to Utah as did I, so I said “Wow, I have only known you for a very short amount of time and you are already asking me to travel with you…how forward.” We both laughed and kept talking. I saw Kim from across the bar she was thin, tall, and blonde. That is a great start. So I went over and started to talk to her. We got along great and had continued to have a flirtatious conversation not far along I knew that I wanted to ask her out on a date, she agreed and we settled on an adventure date a.k.a. a date that starts off on a hike or something not just dinner and chatting. We decided to meet out at the Wissahickon Park in Philadelphia off of bells mills road. Kim asked if she could bring along Sake and I agreed and we had a great time walking along till we found a bench that was illuminated by perfect sunlight I asked her if she wanted to sit down for a few moments at the Jane Austin bench…she laughed and we talked some more and then we had our first kiss… “

With the light gone, no worries. Makes more for epic shots! To end the night with a bang, fireworks were set off! This shot was from the few things I kept in mind from my last blog if you haven’t read here about fireworks.
