He was supposed to be out of town, on what started to be a gloomy day. She had no idea that she’ll be hopping on a boat where a thrilling surprise will be waiting for her. This was the scene about to unfold for Jessica and Michael.

The city was catching the tail end of a storm which hit our neighboring states. But after it had passed nothing could have been a more perfect day to propose, which probably is one of the most nerve-wracking experiences a guy can face. But my guy can handle it, with the support from his closest friends and family.

Michael spent quite sometime to plan everything in place. We started off boarding on the beautiful Patriot in Penns Landing, a boat that can hold a good group of people. With everyone on board, filled with excitement, we made our way to pick up Jessica. And just witnessing the beautiful sunset in the city of Philadelphia was quite beautiful. Setting the mood while we were out on our way from the Delaware river to the Schuylkill river.

When Jessica boarded the boat and got greeted by her friends and family which she did not expect to see, the moment started to build up for what was about to happen. Michael was waiting in front of the boat to propose. Flower petals on the floor. And there it was, romance was in the air. And of course she said yes! 🙂

Everything from there on was more fun and celebration. The boat anchored down as we stayed by the Chestnut dock area with a good view of the Art Museum, where the fireworks will be set off. We all watched the fireworks with so much joy for this new bride and groom to be. Once again doing what I do leads me to meet great people and tell their story. Congrats on your engagement Michael and Jessica! It was an honor to have documented the beginning of your lives together. Cheers!
