Longwood Gardens Engagement
The best time to go to Longwood Gardens? It’s a tough question to answer as it is beautiful all year round.
But if you have ever been to Longwood Gardens in Kenneth Square PA, and have already seen the outstanding beauty of it’s grounds, then you know anytime is a great time. But as far as my opinion, fall is the best time of year to visit this amazing place. The way mother nature creates the fall foliage this time of year is just a look that is like no other.

We took advantage of how gorgeous the colors all around were. Our couple Valerie and Charles were just having fun as we explored the grounds of Longwood Gardens. So much to explore and one can definitely get lost at Longwood!
We stopped by at the Cirra Green in Philadelphia to create their last set of images, which was really nothing short of amazing as we had the Philadelphia Skyline as our backdrop in a stylishly evening look for our couple.
On how they met: (Valerie)
“Charles and I met at work. We both worked at a residential facility as caregivers for children with autism. We worked on the same shift so we got to know each other quickly. We were friends for quite a few months before we started dating.”
And how their proposal happened, so simple but really sweet. (Valerie)
“The proposal is a funny story. When he proposed, we were already together for seven years. We also live together. The night he proposed, we had his family over for dinner. As soon as they left and I was cleaning up dinner, he came up behind me and said “I guess I should give this to you now.” (because it had been so long). I turned around and he had a ring. Then I said “Is that real?” (because I thought he was joking). After a little clarification from both of us, since I needed him to actually ask me the question, we were engaged :).”
We are so excited for their wedding next year! Feel free to leave us a comment about their session! Thanks again and ’till next time!
